We have been notified by ALICE MAKINO,
daughter of our shipmate,
VITO BRIATICO that Vito passed away on April 15th, 2011. Vito's passing was very unexpected and quick, as he had been healthy and active right up to that time. Alice said that her dad really enjoyed re-connecting with everyone at the reunions that he was able to attend.
