We have been notified by our Shipmate JIM VANNEST that
MILDRED FOX
beloved wife of our shipmate, COLIE FOX,
has passed away, on April 13, 2011.
Our thoughts and prayers are with Colie and his family
at this very sad time.

This photo was taken at 3:00 o'clock pm on September 11, 2013 of this largest flying AMERICAN FLAG. It was flying in memory of those victims of the 9-11 tragedy. In my mind it flew in memory for COLIE FOX, WHO PASSED OVER ON 09-11-2013,..... AND WILL FLY EACH YEAR.

ROCK HILL – Mr. Colie Lewis Fox, 90, passed away on Wednesday, September 11, 2013 at Agape.

The funeral service will be 2:00 pm on Sunday, September 15, 2013 at Oakdale Baptist Church with Revs. Jerry Devinney, Joey Deese and Tony Slawson officiating. Burial will be in Forest Hills Cemetery .

Born in Wagener, SC, Mr. Fox was a son of the late Joe Fox and the late Alice Garvin Fox. He was a US Navy veteran of WWII and a member of the Sons of the Confederate Veterans. He was a retired city policeman with 24 ½ years of service and a member of the FOP. He was the widower of Mildred Gregory Fox and was also preceded in death by his brothers, Wilbur, Norris, Harold and Sam Fox and his sister, Lettie Weatherford.

Surviving are his son, Stephen L. Fox and his wife, Peggy of Rock Hill; and his sister, Lillie Sauls of Aiken , SC.

The family will receive friends from 6-7:30 pm on Saturday, September 14, 2013 at Greene Funeral Home Northwest Chapel, 2133 Ebenezer Rd., Rock Hill.

Memorials may be made in Mr. Fox's name to Serenity Palliative & Hospice Care, 325 S. Oakland Ave , Rock Hill , SC 29730 ; or to Oakdale Baptist Church, Awana Club, 1249 Oakdale Rd , Rock Hill , SC 29730 .
