March 7, 2009 - We have been contacted by Tony, Jr, that
Shipmate Tony Martino passed away today.
My father, Anthony Martino Sr., passed away today, March 7, 2009,
at Florida Hospital Hospice in Ormond Beach. He wanted me to let
you so you could let his shipmates know. He was very proud of his time on the Listing Lee. Bless you all.

Arlene Martino, pictured above with Shipmate Tony.

and the
entire Martino Family.

Formerly of Lynn, Massachusetts, Tony served aboard the Harry Lee from time of commissioning until his re-assignment to a sub-chaser after the Sicily Campaign.
He was discharged in 1947 and retired to Florida in 1985.
