Lt. Leslie R. Phalen was born in
Augusta, Maine, and grew up in Barr Harbor, Maine and Light House Point,
near Korea, Maine. At age 19 or 20, he attended Kings Point Naval Academy. Then when the war came, he enlisted in the Navy. Additional information and photos are being compiled by Lt. Phalen's family and will be added in the near future. |
