James A. Smith

James A. Smith served aboard the U.S.S. Harry Lee as a Motor Machinist's Mate 3rd Class on Landing Crafts in the Pacific Theatre, earning a Silver Star, three Bronze Stars and a Victory Medal.

He was Honorably Discharged on December 20, 1945.

James passed away on December 15, 1999 in Burton, Michigan.
