Harold "Red" Young was born August 16, 1924 in Clendenin, WV. Red went to Great Lakes in May 1943. He reported aboard the Harry Lee at Hampton Roads in early August, shortly after the ship returned from the Sicily operation. He died in Elkview, WV on July 4, 2007. |
